A former Outback Steakhouse was renovated to create this new Superica restaurant. The project included demolition of the existing patio enclosure, partitions, doors, and lay-in ceiling, plus removal of built-in seating and refreshed paint. The refreshed space features a new breeze block wall, uncovered patio, colorful dining room, open kitchen, and full bar.

Set in a 100-year-old repurposed textile mill, Superica Charlotte blends historic character with hand-painted Moroccan tiles, a patina’d zinc-faced concrete bar, reclaimed wood millwork, custom lighting including WW2-era tent lights, and custom-fabricated exterior doors.

This first-generation space is located in a four-story building within a popular mixed-use development. It features custom millwork, plaster walls, and steel replica windows. A mezzanine houses mechanical systems, while a steel-supported canopy creates 1,000 SF of outdoor seating. Outdoor features include copper gutters, wooden planters, fans, and hanging heaters.

A former warehouse is transformed into an upscale restaurant featuring wood-burning grills and an indoor/outdoor patio bar. The space incorporates masonry, exposed steel, custom lighting, rope elements, and pivoting doors for an industrial yet refined feel.

Located in the Gulch, Superica Nashville features intricate millwork, steel, decorative concrete block, and tile finishes throughout. Vintage artwork, a hand-forged chandelier made of bicycle seats, and Texas-inspired details give the space its distinctive personality. A 1960s-inspired carport roof covers part of the outdoor patio, where breeze block walls and pavers create a layered indoor-outdoor dining experience.

Built in an existing shell building, the Strawberry Hill location features a faux brick cornice and faux board-formed concrete entrance. Inside, a modern dining area, bar, and partially open kitchen create a unique and inviting atmosphere. A reclaimed wood slatted partition separates the bar and dining areas, while an outdoor courtyard with a mobile cocktail bar offers ample open-air seating.

Located in high-end Palms Hill shopping center, this two-story restaurant channels a Wild West aesthetic with a modern, open dining room and eye-catching bar connected to a partially open kitchen. Reclaimed wood slatted partitions define the space and anchor the design.

From my first site visit until opening day, [Choate’s] team remained focused on providing a quality product. From their knowledge of construction, attention to detail, and ability to deal with multiple challenges along the way, the dedication shown by the [project team] was above and beyond my expectations.
