Superica Fenton

Located on the first floor of a four-story structure, this first-generation space features custom millwork, artisan plaster walls, and steel replica windows to create a rustic, yet modern feel.

A large canopy supported by two diagonal steel columns attracts guests and invites them to relax on the 1,000-SF outdoor patio, with fans and hanging heaters provide year-round dining comfort.

The design of this space – akin to other Superica locations – is both in accordance with the known brand style while also incorporating local themes of the surrounding community. To achieve the design vision, the Choate project team worked closely with architectural consultants to understand the nuances of what the space would look like, procure the unique materials needed to bring that vision to life, and provide insight into alternative materials and designs to avoid conflicts in the civil and structural engineering construction phases.

As the complex in which Superica is located was still under construction, the Choate project team and trade partners had to work in close proximity and in concert with the general contractor operating on the site at the same time.

The project team delivered this project on time and below budget through proactive scheduling, consistent and clear communication, and skilled logistics planning.
