To reduce the potential for shrinkage and provide further strength in the foundations, the structure is built using post-tensioned concrete. Erecting a high-rise structure in a populated urban setting presents a range of considerations the project team tackles with fervor. With a 14-story commercial building sitting adjacent to this already-tight site, the team proactively coordinated the project schedule to address every detail, from delivery of materials to the movement of said materials throughout the site. Advanced planning and early communication with the client played critical roles in the success of this senior living project.
