Little Rey transforms 4,850 SF of existing restaurant space into a vibrant fast-casual dining destination inspired by the flavors and atmosphere of Northern Mexico. The project features a new prep kitchen, order counter, and spacious dining room, along with storefront and façade enhancements, a covered patio, and a reimagined rear yard that serves as an inviting outdoor dining area.

Transforming a Shell into a Vibrant Restaurant
Choate’s work with Rocket Farm Restaurants, longtime partners and creative culinary visionaries, focused on revitalizing the structure inside and out. The interior renovation included a brand-new prep kitchen, a streamlined order counter, a comfortable dining room, and thoughtfully placed restrooms.
Exterior Renovations Creating a Welcoming Dining Experience
Outside, the team restored the original façade, redesigned the entryway for a more welcoming arrival, and added a roof covering to the existing patio for year-round use. The previously underutilized rear yard was reimagined as a lively outdoor dining area, extending the restaurant’s energy into the open air.
Little Rey’s design balances modern functionality with an unmistakable sense of place. The result is a space that feels both familiar and fresh, reflecting the restaurant’s ethos of approachable food done exceptionally well.
