Choate Breaks Ground on Horseshoe at HUB Research Triangle Park

Choate Construction Company teams up with White Point to break ground on a flagship mixed-use project that will be a catalyst in attracting and retaining top-tier talent to the Triangle area. Located within the Research Triangle Park (RTP), Horseshoe is the first project to break ground in the RTP’s new downtown – HUB RTP. The multi-faceted 160,000 square feet project consists of two, single-story pavilions flanking a five-story mixed-use tower. The development, activated with ground-floor retail, wraps around a central outdoor courtyard, overlooking 16 acres of greenspace and providing connectivity to streamside boardwalks and the Park’s existing 20+ mile trail system.

The project scope includes a 315,000-SF precast parking deck with metal panels and over 1,000 parking spaces. The flat panel exterior doubles as an ideal space for projecting a movie for the community or well-placed advertising.

Horseshoe at Hub RTP creates a rich and bustling community within the largest research and technology park in the United States. RTP is a 7,000-acre global conglomeration of science, technology, and industry innovation that continues to revolutionize the meaning of a live, work, play development through luxury apartments, modernized office space, bustling retail, and 16 acres of parks and green space.
