Choate provided Design-Build services for the renovation of an existing warehouse building in Decatur, GA. The building is converted into a tri-temp distribution facility with additional office space. The insulated metal panels for this food-grade facility are supported by the structural racks. The building also incorporates a world-class kitchen and a spice and cheese room.
The project layout is a cross-dock design with continuous pits with vertical dock levelers. The refrigeration design is an ammonia system with a modular refrigeration skid.
