Trident Health’s Summerville Breast Center Celebrates Opening with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Directly across from Summerville Medical Center in Charleston, SC comes a new boutique medical office dedicated to women and breast health. Trident Health’s new Summerville Breast Center is the first of its kind in the area to provide medical help and guidance to women during key points throughout their life. Choate Charleston completed construction of this medical office building in less than three months.

The center opened its doors in June with a beautiful ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating the creation of dozens of jobs, new clinic positions, and comprehensive medical service offerings geared directly toward women.

“By creating a breast center like this one, we are listening to what Lowcountry women want and need – compassion, understanding and outstanding care in an intimate, boutique environment,” said Jeff Taylor, Summerville Medical Center CEO.

With a goal to encourage access to breast health services, the Center provides patients a warm, welcoming place to receive screening and diagnostic mammography, minimally invasive diagnostic and surgical procedures, and more.
